I found out I had a right to be nervous about the size. My binoculars are 20 years old but they are some of the best made. Because they’re so old they’re not listed in your sizing chart and so I was worried about picking the right size. I got the large and the glasses fit nice except that I have to use two hands to pull the lid over the top of the eyepieces. I wish now I would have got the largest size but I will make these work. I saw this harness on the born and raised outdoors channel. I know I’m going to love them in the field.
The ridgetop harness has solved a bunch of issues I have had with previous products. The design is perfect! Easy one handed access to your binos, and the extra storage capabilities are great. I love it
I am very satisfied with my XL model of the Ridgetop harness which fits both my Zeiss Victory 10X56 and Swaro 15X large binoculars. I had purchased a large version 2 years ago which for whatever reason was missing a sewn-in closure magnet for the top. They were kind enough to send me a free replacement. Excellent products and customer service.
They harness is solid. It’s well thought out and built with durable and quiet materials. I like that it’s enclosed but easy to open. The magnets are not my favorite but you can operate the case quietly and controlled. The fit for my 10x42 Leupold Santiams is nearly perfect. The pocket configuration is simple and sufficient for my needs. The fit is surprisingly comfortable and adjustable for different body types and frames. The only thing I might add is a locking hook and loop closure(not Velcro). Kinda the same style you find on other harnesses. This would help me when crawling. I have noticed the magnets are insufficient to keep the lid shut when I have been crawling in on a stalk for mule deer. I had the binocular slip out in this position as well but not during a stalk. Overall I’m stoked on my purchase. I might modify the closure myself if I can find the right materials.
I love everything about this harness! Zeiss Victory RF 10x42s fit perfectly. Rain fly can double as a dust cover. Doesn't tilt when leaning over or crawling on a stalk. Definitely the best harness I've ever used.
